Some of you might know that my friends and I have been doing a weekly DrawCast for a few months now. In an attempt to keep the Loldwell flock loyal (and to quell possibly riots due to lack of content) I figured I’d start posting the recorded streams here.

This video is extra interesting because it a) features my good friends Creighton, Caroline, and Conor and b) is filmed outside at the New York High Line. At one point, several people stopped and requested I draw some elephants. You can see a final version of the picture I drew here. If you’re interested in watching the DrawCast live, I would suggest following Creighton and myself on tumblr and twitter, as we usually post abou t any and all casting. If that’s not your game though, just mark your calendars for Thursday at 7:00 PM Eastern, as that’s when we do our weekly stream.

Hey so I did some camping this weekend and a bit behind on updating stuff! Here’s a quick recap:

My friend Caroline and I went to the Nerd Comics Drink N’ Draw last week. The more beers that are consumed, the stranger and more delightful the drawings become, click through to see a full gallery of our inebriated inkings.

Also! Last week, Susanna wrote a hilarious article about Foursquare that I illustrated. Designing all the badges was a fun minimalist challenge, and I think this article hits pretty close to home for any 4squarians out there.

Lastly! I started reading Naoki Urasawa’s “20th Century Boys” and now I don’t want to do anything except read it for the rest of my life it is that good oh my goodness.
