Shifting Gears

Hi Friends!

I hope you enjoy the above concept art, for it is a harbinger of things to come. You see, for the next few weeks, I’m going to be running a short story  comic on the site called “Clockwise: Prelude.” Think of it as the prologue chapter in a long, possibly awesome graphic novel. The story was written by my buddy Mike Christatos, and I for one and super excited about it.

Now…what else can I show you? Oh right, comics!

“Luckless Charms” – Really pleased with how this joke turned out, click through to enjoy it for your very own.

In other news, ALL POSTERS HAVE BEEN SHIPPED! I apologize for the massive delays, please alert if your poster does not arrive soon, and I will remedy the hell out of the situation.

Remedially,

Caldy

Oh, the Comics You’ll Read!

The above image is from Susanna Wolff’s excellently melancholy article, “Oh, the Places You’ll Actually Go!” It’s a bit darker than our normal faire, but funny all the same. I had a blast putting the art together for this one. Believe it or not, Dr. Seuss is quite difficult to mimic. His line work shares the same quirky quality as his rhyme scheme.

OH ALSO I MADE SOME COMICS:

Crowded Galaxy – A New Dorkly comic that deals with Mario’s troubles while traversing the Nintendo Universe.

Five O’Clock Somewhere – A new comic on Collegehumor which deals with Back to the Future…and drinking.

Enjoy yer funnies. I’m setting sail for new lands,

Caldy

UPDATION!

As you can clearly see, I’ve been playing a lot of Phoenix Wright lately.

Just a quick update, I’m working on the new clockwise page as we speak (er…type) but for now, please enjoy this bonanza of content I produced this past week.

Super Helpful - My weekly comic offering from CH delves explores the limits of Superman’s generosity, click through to read more!

Jeff updated the Movie rating system, and I was happy to illustrate it.

7 Ways to Make the World Cup More Exciting – Pat, Intern Lev, and I brainstormed a few ways to make the world cup (or sports in generally, really) cooler than it already is.

Thanks for reading, friends! Next time we meet, I will be cradling a fresh page of the clockwise prelude in my work-weary hands.
